Nature:White crystalline powder, odorless, tastes slightly bitter and then pungent. White acicular crystal or monoclinic prism, spicy taste. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in acetone, turpentine, ethanol, ether, benzene and chloroform.  

Application: It is an important raw material for fine chemicals such as medicine, spices, dyes and rubber auxiliaries.
