Nature:Colorless crystal. Soluble in 1 part 95% alcohol, soluble in ether, benzene, terpenes, non-volatile oils and sodium hydroxide solution. It has a slight phenolic odor and can evaporate with water vapor. Stable in hot water.         

Application: Antiseptic, fungicide. Used in emulsions, cosmetics, ink, plywood, plastics, as a plastic mildew-proof agent, especially suitable for hard and semi-hard PVC sheet, artificial leather, etc.
