Nature:White to off-white or light green flakes of powder. Chlorine smell. Strong oxidizing agent, contact with flammable materials may cause fire. Incompatible with water, reducing agents, combustible materials, phenol.       

Application: An antimicrobial agent. It is mainly used for bleaching of pulp in paper industry and bleaching of cotton, linen and silk fiber fabrics in textile industry. Also used for urban and rural drinking water, swimming pool water disinfection. The chemical industry is used for the purification of acetylene, the manufacture of chloroform and other organic chemical raw materials. Can be used as wool shrinkage agent, deodorant and so on.
