Nature:Odorless white powder or granule, slightly soluble in water. Soluble in sulfuric acid, dimethylformamide, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and dimethyl sulfoxide. Slightly soluble in acetone, benzene, ether, ethanol and hexane. Insoluble in cold methanol, benzene and chloroform.      

Application: Used as ultraviolet absorber for plastic film; Used as a chemical reagent, also used in organic synthesis; It is mainly used for making new bleach, disinfection and fungicide, water treatment agent, resin, paint and metal cyanide corrosion inhibitor, etc. For the synthesis of chlorinated derivatives, trichloroisocyanurate, sodium dichloroisocyanurate or potassium; Used for synthesis of cyanuric acid-formaldehyde resin, epoxy resin, antioxidant, coating, adhesive, pesticide herbicide, metal cyanide corrosion inhibitor, polymer material modifier, etc. It is used in the production of drug halotrihydroxyzine.
