Nature:White powder, odorless. Insoluble in cold water, alcohol and general organic solvents. Soluble in sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate and ammonia solutions.        

Application: It can be used as bleaching fixing solution, dyeing aid, fiber treatment aid, cosmetic additive, blood anticoagulant, detergent, stabilizer, synthetic rubber polymerization initiator, and alkali metals, rare earth elements and transition metals to form stable water-soluble complexes. EDTA is also an important indicator, but used to titrate metal nickel, copper, etc., when used with ammonia, in order to play the role of indicator.
