Nature:Colorless to white fine columnar crystal or white crystalline powder, with a slight special smell and taste (slightly acidic). It is reductive and has antioxidant and anti-enzymatic Browning effects.   

Application: Mainly used in medicine, cosmetics, biochemical research and so on. Used in bread to promote gluten formation, promote fermentation, mold, prevent aging and so on. Used in natural fruit juices to prevent vitamin C oxidation and to prevent juice from turning brown. The product has detoxification effect and can be used for acrylonitrile poisoning and aromatic acidosis. It also has a role in preventing radiation damage to the human body, and is a drug for the treatment of bronchitis, especially as a expectorant (mostly in the form of acetyl L-cysteine methyl ester).
