Nature:White or yellowish crystalline powder, melting point 204-206 ℃(decomposition). Soluble in water, ethanol and acetone, slightly soluble in ether. Sour bitter taste, stable in the air, deteriorating in the sun, easy to sublimate.    

Application: It is a vitamin and can be used as a food additive.
