Nature:White acicular crystal or crystalline powder, odorless, tasteless. Mp115-118℃(decomposition), specific rotation [α]20D+102.5°(ethanol), this product ethanol liquid has the maximum absorption at 265nm wavelength. Soluble in ethanol (1:2), ether (1:2), acetone (1:10) and chloroform (1:0.7), insoluble in water. Decreased activity when exposed to oxygen or light.    

Application: Biochemical research; The clinical drug is a fat-soluble vitamin, which promotes intestinal calcium and phosphorus absorption, helps bone calcification, and is clinically used to prevent and treat rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults.
