Nature:White or yellowish-white powder. Melting point 44 ~ 51℃, HLB value 5.1, has a special odor. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, soluble in hot vegetable oil, but precipitated when cooled. It is a hydrophobic emulsifier.    

Application: Used as anionic surfactant; Food emulsifier; Emulsifiers and thickeners for cosmetics
