Nature:White powder. Slightly soluble in cold water, ethanol, ether.
Application:Mainly used as water treatment agent, metal rust inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor. Widely used in circulating water treatment agents, anti-rust oil, grease products, also used in copper and copper alloy gas phase corrosion inhibitors, lubricating oil additives. In electroplating, it is used to purify silver, copper and zinc on the surface, and has the effect of preventing discoloration. It is used as an analytical reagent and photographic antifogging agent, and is also used in organic synthesis. It can also be used with a variety of scale inhibitors, bactericides and algal agents, especially for the corrosion inhibition effect of closed circulating cooling water system, in the automotive antifreeze glycol and water, the addition of BTA in the paint can volatilize the role of protective materials.
