Nature:Colorless liquid. Soluble in ethanol and ether, insoluble in water.

Application:Monomers for preparing polymers or copolymers. Used for modifying plexiglass, and as a finishing agent, emulsifier, varnish, and deodorizer for paper, leather, and textiles. Also used as a solvent for paints and coatings, and as a component of petroleum additives and adhesives.
