Industrially, it is an excellent solvent and diluent for inks, coatings, and resins, and is also used in the formulation of antifreeze and hydraulic oils. Furthermore, it can be used as an organic synthesis intermediate, suitable for textile auxiliaries, leather treatment agents, and other fields.
