Nature:A milky white, translucent to opaque, semi-crystalline solid. It is chemically resistant, quick to mold, easy to form, and has low moisture absorption.

Application:Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin is widely used in structural components in the automotive, electronics, electrical, machinery, and instrumentation industries. Glass fiber reinforced PBT with added flame retardants is extensively used in flame-retardant components for televisions, such as the frame and base of output transformers, and connectors and switches for various electrical appliances. PBT can also be blended with other polymers to create plastic alloys.
