Nature:Colorless acicular crystals with a refreshing mint aroma.
Application:It can be used as a flavoring agent in toothpaste, perfumes, beverages, candies and other products. Medically, it serves as a stimulant. When applied to the skin or mucous membranes, it produces a cooling and antipruritic effect. Taken orally, it acts as a carminative and is used to relieve headaches as well as inflammations of the nose, pharynx and larynx. Its esters are applied in the production of fragrances and medicines.
